About The
Change Word Case Site

The Change Word Case - An Online Case Converter site was designed, developed, and built by Jon Zielenkievicz, a New York City based web developer with 10+ years of experience, to help people easily change the case of text online. When building websites, I would often need to convert text to uppercase or lowercase, or make it kebab case, when building things like links, or setting variables in javascript, and I wished there was an online tool that could help with these changes... so I built this site.

This site was also built as an exercise to learn and work with Webpack, Nodejs, Expressjs, Handlebarsjs, Docker, and Amazon Web Services. I also used this site as a showcase for some of the skills I've learned over the last 10+ years as a web developer.

About The Developer, Jon Zielenkievicz

When not building web sites there are many things I like to do to keep busy. One of my favorite activities is listening to music. Some of my favorite bands include Husker Du, Bob Mould, Taylor Swift, Readership, REM, Phoebe Bridgers, Pearl Jam, and Alex Cameron. I also enjoy seeing live music, and in the past few months I've gone to see Bono, Pearl Jam, and The Decemberists.

I also enjoy living in New York City as it gives me the opportunity to walk this amazing place, and explore all the offbeat, quirky, hidden gems this city has to offer. Currently, I live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where I often end up walking in Carl Schurz Park, and Central Park. In the summer I'll often visit Turtle Pond in Central Park, and watch the different species of turtles floating around.

From 2012 to 2019 I played Cornhole in a Zog Sports league on the Upper East Side, and now I play in a city wide darts league.
